The story is set in a world where technological advancement has led humanity to fight each other for scarce resources, causing a great catastrophe. This disaster invokes supernatural forces, significantly impacting various civilizations, some even mutating. Besides the natives, gods and demons from legends, influenced by these supernatural forces, awaken and covertly intervene in the world's wars to seek and control the source of power. The project primarily depicts a civilization that worships a Western demon. Following the great disaster, this civilization constantly experiences dark colored rain. The dark liquid gradually parasites on the inhabitants, giving them special powers and magic. Witches create a giant forge to collect the black rain and transform it into dark water. Species modified with dark water possess absolute loyalty as they need it for blood and sustenance. The force is called Dark Water.
